Tax Man – Yet Again

What a surprise I have a tax investigation again, today I have received a letter from Miss Lewis of the Bournemouth Tax Office informing me of yet another tax investigation into my affairs!

I am at the end of my tether; it is now obvious to me and those around me that the continual investigation from the Tax Office can only be construed as Victimisation, Harassment and Discrimination. I really didn’t think that I was that big a fish in this town, but obviously the tax man thinks that I am.

I know a lot of people that do not play the game, will do anything to avoid not paying all or even not paying at all! I have played the game properly my whole life, but to what benefit, just more victimisation, harassment and discrimination.

You can never win; whatever the outcome of the investigation it will always cost me money, £1000’s upon £1000’s on in house accounts staff, accountants etc. This they know, all they want to do is to prevent me from keep climbing the ladder.

I have decided that this time they are not going to get away with it, I am seeking advice from my Local MP, Tobias Ellwood and other independent parties that are available to me as this just isn’t right, it is a continual distraction to the success of my businesses.

The worst thing about being investigated is that if they, the Inland Revenue, are not happy with your response they will just let you know what they think you might owe them, what they call an assessment, irrelevant of whether you do or not owe them any money, and then if you fail to pay this fictitious amount, that they believe you owe, they can send the bailiffs in to recover the money!!

This has just got to stop, it’s yet another reason to seriously consider leaving this country, it is a shame to think that because of one part of the systems continual victimisation, harassment and discrimination that I may leave, but I am and always have been an upstanding citizen and employer, surely there has got to be something wrong, somewhere?

If any of you out there have any advice and other channels that I can go down to stop this then please let me know, any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Tax Man – Again

I am swimming in my pool with my son and thinking about the tax man, I cannot relax and enjoy quality time with my son without stressing out about the tax man!
The latest issue that I have with the tax man is that I decided to spread my self assessment payments over a period of six months, as I have been paying on the nail for over 6 years and have never been rewarded. For those of you not aware of Self Assessment tax payments, these are actually payments on account for money that they think you are going to be earning over the next tax year! So as it’s in advance what’s the problem in spreading these payments out, enabling me to have reserve funds for potential business deals.
Post dated cheques were sent of which they cashed one and returned the others. I then received a telephone call from some little jumped up tea boy at the tax office who told me that without filling in a hardship form split payments were not acceptable, he then had the audacity to tell me that it was his money that I was playing with, well, as you can imagine I blew, a f$%^ing hardship form, who do they think they are talking to!?
The matter has now gone to the courts, with me still feeding the tax office the monthly payments that they sent back. It is costing me over £100k per year with book keepers, accountants and advisors to tell me how much I owe the tax man, so in the long run I would be better off giving the tax man my accounts in a biscuit tin and letting them work out how much I owe them.
It has been worked out that over the past four years I have had the pleasure of paying my not so silent partner, the tax man over £1 Million!!!!!! And they are still on my case…
They wonder why people end up disappearing with the big one?!
Perhaps one day they will wind me up so much that … poof….. I am gone.
They have had a good screw from me over the years, why can’t they give me a break?
And as for my other silent partners the VAT man and NI, I’ll leave that for another day, I am now going to enjoy the rest of my evening in the pool with my son!

Tax Man Meeting – Part 2 – Did I Have My Tummy Tickled?

After the pressure of the tax man meeting yesterday, where it didn’t go entirely against me, I didn’t roll over and have my tummy tickled and let them rob me! I was able to have the rest of the day to concentrate on my friends that have asked for a loan for a large project that they are involved in. Being sceptical about the whole thing, I have agreed to lend them quite a substantial amount, but not what they originally asked for. I was able to secure satisfactory security for the amount loaned, and all parties are happy. I wish them well for the project.

I have got lots of planning for my marriage in Antigua this April, it’s a commitment that I have never made before, and to be honest I do feel a bit nervy about the whole thing, but I am sure everything will be ok, it’s a commitment that I want to make.
In preparation for the wedding is my stag night, which I am having in Puerto Banus with an ever increasing crowd of mates! Everybody wants to come, 25 possibly 30, I never knew I was so popular! Unfortunately there are some of my closest mates that haven’t been allowed to come, various reasons apparently but namely wives and girlfriends won’t let them, for some reason they have the notion that we are going to be getting up to all sorts out there, why would they think that?! Whatever, I know that it’s going to be great!

The new salesman on board is starting to knock the numbers out, so I am pleased about that. I am sure that we are looking at some good results this year for the trading side of the business. There is massive scope and potential and my goal for this year is to make £1 Million in pure profit this year!

I have expanded the fleet of vehicles for the Chauffeur business, I am still not sure if this is going to be profitable, but hey its all fun, the use of a 200” stretch Hummer and the other luxury cars within our fleet! Hopefully buying the ultimate in vehicles the Royles Royce Phantom, if things go well……what the hell it’s a lovely car and you just have to have one!!

Tax Man Meeting

It was a big day today, what with the visit from the tax man, a man from India showing his wares, lending friends large amounts of money and buying another stretch hummer limousine!

The meeting with the tax man went well; both parties were able to put their points across. I did accuse them of not treating me fairly due to the element of racial discrimination. However, we were able to come to an amicable conclusion to the matter; I hope that this is now the end of the investigation!
The meeting gave us the chance to welcome our new accountant into the Self World….how long he lasts is another story!
